MEGANTARA 2016

   SMAN 3 Bandung has a special event. It is called FESTIVAL SENI SASTRA DAN BUDAYA. This event held once in every year. In this year, it named MEGANTARA. It was held on September 10^th 2016 at lapangan bali. This festival was held and organized by student of SMAN 3 Bandung.  So, I think students of SMAN 3 Bandung are very amaizing and cool because they can hold a big event open for public. This event can make students learn how to hold an event. So it is very usefull especially us as teens to learn something that we don’t learn in regular class.

   In Megantara, there are fashion show nusantara, wayang golek show, nusantara dance, traditional games, batik stand, exhibition of art, ‘rumah hantu’, traditional food stand, food stands, food truks, etc. However, this festival can support and improve nusantara culture. At 15.30 until 16.10 there is fashion show nusantara. In this fashion show, representative from grade X wear traditional costume.

   In this event, there is performance from our extraculicullar like T’ST, they showed a theater’s story about Indonesia, Keluarga Paduan Angklung 3, Kelompok Vokal 3, Musik Klasik 3, Lingkung Seni Sunda 3, Band 3,etc. We also invited student from other school to show their performance on the stage like Rampak Kendang from Darul Hikam, OSD ITB, etc.

   We invite special guest too at Megantara. We have The Cangcuters and RAN. We were very excited and enjoyed their performance. They sang a lot of songs.
